The idea of implementing a mechanical keyboard in a laptop is true in this amazing yet bulky laptop. The MSI GT80 TITAN.
This 9.9 pounds (4.5kg) laptop comes with a full cherry MX brown mechanical key switches with red back lighting and 4 metal (WASD) key caps.
Under the blank metal plate( which is removed by only 2 screws on the bottom), you’ll find 4 raid zero SSDs, a 2.5 inch hard drive, an optical drive and 2 of the 4 ram slots, making this laptop one of the best laptops in terms of upgradeability.
Removing the bottom plate, you’ll find the battery, 2 more ram slots, 2.6-GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor, two Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M GPUs in SLI with 8GB of VRAM each; and an Intel HD Graphics 4600 GPU and of course all is connected with  2 huge cooling fans and lots of heat pipes.
The touch pad is rotated by 90 degrees because the keyboard is taking so much space and can also be used as a Numpad.
The 18.4 inch display with 1920×1080 offers expansive viewing angles, great details and good color accuracy. A subwoofer on the bottom making this a very loud laptop if you crank up the volumes in movies and games.
On the left side, you’ll find headphone and mic jacks, optical audio out, 3 USB 3.0 ports, SD card, optical drive and vents.
On the right side, 2 USB 3.0 ports and another vent.
On the back, a killer lan port, hdmi 2.0 port, 2 mini display ports, a 4-pin power jack and another 2 large vents. Â Gaming performance is needless to say superior to any gaming laptop and by the look of things, it seems that MSI made everything easy to access and that’s for a reason. MSI is launching a new feature supporting changing the mobile GPUs and cooling kits for MSI GT80 TITAN clients.

Extraordinary performance, greatest keyboard on a laptop ever, easy upgradeability and very loud speakers.
Disadvantages:Â
It’s too huge making it almost like a portable desktop due to the amount of space you need to use this laptop since putting it on your lap is not comfortable for both using the keyboard and due to the heavy weight. It comes with a very premium price.
